    Are you an EMT who loves working with kids and wants something beyond traditional emergency response?

    The Children’s Clinic of Fredericksburg is expanding our Mobile Pediatric Urgent Care team — and we’re looking for a compassionate, skilled EMT to deliver care directly to families in their homes.

    This isn’t 911 emergency transport — this is family-centered, pediatric urgent care for everyday childhood illnesses like:

    ✔️ Colds & fevers ✔️ Stomach bugs ✔️ Minor injuries ✔️ Viral illnesses ✔️ Pediatric urgent care needs

    You’ll work alongside experienced providers in a fully equipped medical mobile unit, serving our community in a meaningful and innovative way.

    What You’ll Do:

    Support pediatric assessments and obtain vital signs

    Assist with exams and minor procedures

    Perform point-of-care testing

    Maintain a clean and fully stocked mobile medical unit

    Provide comfort and reassurance to children and families

    Deliver professional, high-quality care in home settings

    What We’re Looking For:

    Active EMT certification (VA or NREMT)

    Current BLS (PALS preferred)

    Pediatric experience preferred

    Strong clinical judgment

    Compassionate bedside manner

    Ability to work independently in the field

    Qualifications:

    Valid Virginia Emergency Medical Technician certification required.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Must be available to work flexible hours.

    High comfort level and/or willingness to work in a mobile medical vehicle environment daily.

    Bilingual English / Spanish fluency is a plus.
