Responsibilities: • Perform pediatric triage assessments for phone calls and in-office patient concerns, and document accurately and clearly in the electronic medical record • Assess symptoms, determine urgency, and prioritize care based on pediatric protocols, and document accurately and clearly in the electronic medical record • Provide age-appropriate nursing guidance and education to parents and caregivers • Assist with in-office clinical duties as needed (vitals, immunizations, procedures) • Complete Prior Authorizations • Accurately document assessments and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR) • Follow pediatric clinical guidelines, infection control standards, office policies, and aid in the research and implementation of established pediatric guidelines and protocols • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations • Complete School Forms and any requested Patient Letters Qualifications: • Experience in pediatric nursing, with a focus on triage assessments and patient care • Ability to accurately document patient interactions and care plans in an electronic health record (EHR) system • Proven track record of providing age-appropriate guidance and education to parents and caregivers • Competence in performing clinical duties such as taking vitals, administering immunizations, and assisting with procedures • Familiarity with completing Prior Authorizations and managing related documentation • Understanding of pediatric clinical guidelines, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to office policies and protocols consistently Compensation: $29 - $40 hourly
