Are you a passionate pediatric OT who thrives in a tight-knit clinic where autonomy, flexibility, and heart-led care are non-negotiables?

A thriving pediatric private practice in Rochester Hills is actively seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join their growing team. Part-time applicants with availability for after-school hours (3pm–6:45pm) are also welcome to apply. This opportunity is perfect for a clinician who values autonomy in treatment, a healthy work-life balance, and being part of a team that’s as invested in you as you are in your clients.

    Why This Job Stands out:

    • You’re Trusted: You won’t be micromanaged. Therapists are empowered to plan sessions, write goals, and discharge when clinically appropriate—with support, not red tape.

    • Work-Life Balance Matters: The clinic operates Monday–Thursday only with a generous paid lunch break and early outs when sessions cancel.

    • Your Input Counts: Therapists are encouraged to discover their niche and help shape future programming.

    • Supportive, Therapist-Owned Culture: This clinic was founded by a fellow clinician and is built on respect, understanding, and a goal to keep burnout at bay.

    Compensation & Schedule:

    • On Target Earnings: $70,000–$78,000+/year (negotiable depending on experience and productivity)

    • Hybrid Pay Structure: Base salary + additional compensation per session treated

    • Additional bonuses provided depending on productivity

    • Option to prorate salary for reduced hours if under 40 hours/week

    • Sessions are typically 45 minutes in length with productivity expectations that leave time for planning and collaboration

    Benefits Include:

    • Generous PTO that increases with tenure (2 week minimum to start)

    • Paid holidays (including a full paid week off between Christmas and New Years!)

    • 401(k) with match for both full and part time staff

    • A continuing education allowance ($1,200/year for full-time; prorated for part-time)

    • Generous healthcare stipend

    You’ll Love:

    • No weekend or Friday hours

    • Full admin support: Therapists get to focus on therapy, not scheduling

    • Family-focused holistic approach to treatment.

    • Diverse team with different areas of specialty.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Licensed OTR/L in Michigan (or license-eligible)

    • Ability to work in-person in Rochester Hills, MI

    • Pediatric experience preferred; open to strong new grads with relevant fieldwork experiences

    • Comfortable being the sole OT onsite (for now), with flexibility to help shape the program and build your caseload in a niche area

    • Skilled in engaging with neurodivergent children and their families

    Bonus Points If You:

    • Thrive in a small team setting and value collaborative care

    • Are neurodivergent-affirming and open-minded in your therapeutic approach

    • Are energized by autonomy and meaningful parent partnerships

    • Are interested in contributing to program growth as a department lead and mentoring COTAs as the team expands

We’ll respond right away to any applications. We can’t wait to meet you!
