School-based occupational therapist positions available in Manhattan (UES and downtown) as well as Jersey City, NJ. Start right away!

Join a small enthusiastic group of therapists who work on a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality services. Caseloads vary but currently we have a need for school-based OTs and clinic-based OT. For the school-based position, we expect and train our therapists to think "out of the box" and bring private practice quality skills to the school setting. You will work in schools but not be bound by the "school therapy" mindset. If you love just sitting at a table and doing handwriting, then we are not interested. For our clinic-based position, we offer supervision and mentorship in individual and group meetings. If you want to take your OT career to the next level, we will help you do that! We want dynamic, enthusiastic therapists who are self-driven and independent but who want to seek mentorship to grow their therapeutic mindset and tool bag.

Several caseloads available on a part time basis or can be combined to make a full time schedule. Immediate assignments in Manhattan and Jersey City. Weekdays and weekends!

For experienced therapists, opportunities to show off your supervisory or clinical management skills is also possible.

Being dually licensed for OT in NY and NJ is a bonus!

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (schools), Monday to Sunday (clinic/homes)

Applicant expectations

Applicants must have prior pediatric experience.

Applicants must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, creative and confidence working independently.

Applicants must be willing to work in a small, personable setting with an abundance of resources.

Applicants must be confident.

Applicants must be good at communicating.

Applicants must be creative.

Applicants must love being an occupational therapist.

Applicants must be willing to invest in themselves through mentorship and continuing education

Applicant must be licensed in NY State and carry Professional Liability insurance.

Applicant must get NYC DOE Fingerprinting & clearance required immediately.

*Partnership or Buy-in level therapists must bring in clients and show a proven track record of quality therapy services and related administrative skills.

PAY: Pay range is $60 - $85/hr and is dependent on experience, contracts/locations you are willing to take and your performance. Any additional clients brought into the center will be rewarded.
