We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy program at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, Idaho. What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Day-to-Day)
- Collaborate with children, families, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions that improve functional skills, strength, coordination, and independence.
- Educate families on techniques for daily living, joint protection, and energy conservation.
- Track progress, update treatment plans, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Support families and caregivers in helping each child reach their highest potential.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and incorporate them into your care.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and a safe, engaging therapy environment.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Licensed (or eligible for immediate licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho.
- Previous experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
- Passionate about helping children achieve milestones through creativity and compassion.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills—you value collaboration and open dialogue.
- Organized, self-motivated, and confident balancing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and digital tools (bonus points for tech-savviness!).
