We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Phlebotomist to join our growing clinical research team. This role is ideal for someone experienced in working with infants, children, and adolescents in a calm, professional, and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on pediatric participants (infants through adolescents)
Follow study protocols and SOPs for specimen collection, processing, labeling, and storage
Provide a comforting and supportive experience for pediatric patients and parents
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical research and regulatory standards
Adhere to GCP, HIPAA, and infection control procedures
Work closely with coordinators, nurses, and investigators during study visits
Required Qualifications:
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred
Minimum 1–2 years pediatric phlebotomy experience
Strong ability to perform pediatric and infant blood draws confidently
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional with children and families
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Preferred Experience:
Clinical research or research site experience
Experience with vaccine trials or pediatric studies
Knowledge of specimen handling and centrifugation
