Kidtastic Kids Preschool Special Education Program

Kidtastic Kids is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Per Diem Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based physical therapy services to preschool-aged children with developmental delays and disabilities.

In this role, you will work directly with young learners in a supportive, child-centered educational environment, helping students develop the motor skills necessary to participate successfully in school activities and daily routines. Services are provided on-site during the school day (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) and are delivered in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group physical therapy services to preschool-aged children.

Develop and implement therapy interventions aligned with student IEP goals.

Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments as assigned.

Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.

Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications

Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.

Experience working with young children, preferably in a school-based, preschool, or early intervention setting.

Knowledge of IEPs and New York State preschool special education regulations preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
