    Intensive Physical Therapy Institute is a team of passionate professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and their families. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapy Aide to join our team.

    Position Overview:

    As a Pediatric Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists (PT) and physical therapist assistants (PTA) by assisting with daily operations and ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of the therapy area, preparing equipment, and providing general support to our therapy team and patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clean and Maintain Therapy Areas: Regularly clean and sanitize therapy rooms, equipment, and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
    • Assist Therapy Team: Support PTs and PTAs with various tasks, including setting up and taking down equipment, preparing treatment materials, and organizing patient records.
    • Prepare Equipment: Ensure all therapy equipment is in good working condition and properly set up for daily sessions.
    • Greet and Assist Patients: Welcome patients and their families, assist with check-in procedures, and provide general support to ensure a positive experience.
    • Administrative Support: Help with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scheduling, and handling phone calls.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare or pediatric setting is a plus but not required.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
    • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and move about facility for prolonged periods
    • Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands
    • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds
    • Flexibility as needed
