About the Role:

Join BrightStar of Coastal Los Angeles as a Pediatric Registered Nurse, where you will provide compassionate care to children in a supportive environment. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our young patients and their families. If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and making a difference, we want to hear from you!

Shifts Available Mondays- 3:00pm - 8:30pm

Tuesdays- 12:30pm to 8:30pm

Wednesdays 8:30am to 2:30pm & 2:30pm to 8:30pm

Location: Irvine

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including TPN administration.

Monitor and assess patient health and vital signs regularly.

Provide specialized pediatric care, including G-tube care and management.

Provide education and support to families regarding care plans and health management.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Assist in developing individualized care plans for pediatric patients.

Respond to medical emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred, including experience with TPN administration and G-tube care.

Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and families.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Compassionate demeanor and a passion for pediatric care.

Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
