Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist CCC-SLP
Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking an experienced full-time, salaried Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our Pediatric Speech Therapy program. The successful candidate will be licensed in Florida with a minimum of one year of experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in an outpatient setting.
In this role, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with other clinicians to evaluate and treat children with speech-language delays and disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, fluency disorders, voice disorders, social communication challenges, and cognitive-linguistic impairments. Experience with early intervention, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, feeding therapy, and family-centered care is highly desirable. Interest in expanding professional skills through continued training and advanced certifications is encouraged.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate referred patients using standardized and informal assessments
Create and implement individualized plans of care
Monitor and document patient progress through thorough daily treatment notes, supervisory visit notes, evaluation reports, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries
Provide data and reports as needed for external reporting and grant requirements
Supervise SLPAs, Clinical Fellows (CFs), and students completing clinical rotations
Collaborate with therapists across disciplines (OT, PT, and specialty services) to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding speech therapy techniques, home programs, and carryover strategies
Maintain accurate, timely patient records
Uphold the policies established by the Clinic
Represent the organizational values of teamwork, professionalism, integrity, compassion, and respect
Requirements
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida (SLP DOH License)
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly
Experience with thorough documentation and strong time-management skills
Minimum one (1) year of pediatric experience preferred
Supervisory experience preferred

Compensation
Starting at $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
