    Job Summary

    Are you passionate about supporting children AND looking for flexibility working as an exceptional speech and language therapist?

    Comprehensive Learning Services is currently seeking highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech and Language Therapists to join our team in our beautiful Hyde Park location!

    As a Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents with speech, language, and communication disorders. Your primary goal will be to assess, diagnose, and provide intervention services to help children improve their communication skills and overcome any speech or language difficulties.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children's speech, language, and communication skills.

    Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and the specific needs of each child.

    Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children to target specific speech and language goals.

    Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and tools to facilitate language development and improve speech clarity.

    Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and effective treatment team.

    Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.

    Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to promote language and communication skills at home and in daily activities.

    Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of pediatric speech and language therapy.

    Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

    Valid license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.

    Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.

    Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric speech and language therapy.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with children, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

    Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and modify therapy techniques based on each child's unique needs.

    Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children with communication disorders.

    Organizational skills to manage caseloads, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines.

    Willingness to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.
