PTS, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide school-based services for a local school district in New Castle County, DE:
- Full-time or part-time available; hours fall within a normal school day and will vary depending on primary and secondary caseloads.
- This position will be for the 22-23 school year.

Responsibilities:
A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Assist the BCBA in implementing behavioral programming in a home and/or school setting.
- Collect data on all programming and writes progress notes.
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Participate with all other interdisciplinary team members.
- With the BCBA, instruct team members on proper implementation of various ABA programs and behavioral interventions.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Immediately report to BCBA any incidents/variances or complaints.
- Adhere to Agency standards and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.
- Maintains acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills through daily documentation.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- One year experience preferred
