The Pediatric Unit APP will support the pediatric physician in providing daily care and assessments for pediatric residents.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• NP: Master’s in Nursing (or)
• PA: Accredited PA Program
• Licensure:
• Active NYS NP or PA License
• Pediatrics Certification (preferred)
• Technical Skills: Complex care coordination
• Soft Skills: Family-centered communication, interdisciplinary collaboration

• Perform pediatric physical assessments.
• Monitor developmental milestones and health status.
• Collaborate with pediatric physicians on treatment plans.
