    Pediatrician

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician (MD or DO) to join our growing healthcare team in Wauchula, Florida. This outpatient-only position focuses on providing comprehensive pediatric primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents in a diverse and underserved community.

    This role is ideal for a pediatric physician who is passionate about delivering culturally competent care and improving access to healthcare for families throughout the region. The Pediatrician will collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care while helping improve health outcomes for the community.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Compensation: Up to $230,000 per year, based on experience
    • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
    • Relocation Assistance: $1,000 (in-state) | $3,000 (out-of-state)

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
    • Clear and active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain before start date)
    • Valid DEA registration and BLS certification
    • Eligible for medical staff privileges and malpractice coverage
    • Experience in outpatient pediatric care preferred
    • Comfort working within electronic health record systems

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care including: Preventive and wellness visits, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, management of chronic pediatric conditions and Immunizations and developmental screenings
    • Educate families on health, nutrition, and preventive care
    • Review diagnostic reports including labs, imaging, and other clinical tests
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Athena EHR system
    • Ensure proper coding and documentation for billing accuracy
    • Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health providers, and community resources
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and clinical meetings
    • Provide guidance and collaboration with ARNPs and PAs as needed
    • Participate in community outreach and health education programs
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of clinical staff
