    About the Role:

    Recovery Mobile Clinic in Wixom, MI is looking for a passionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Coach to join our mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to use your own lived experience to inspire and guide others on their journey to lasting recovery. The Recovery Mobile Clinic is a 501C3 non-profit organization that opperates RV and SUV medical clinics over SE michigan. We are looking for somewone who is eager to grow a program and participate in a new Start up mission!

    Responsibilities:

    Provide one-on-one peer support and mentorship to individuals in substance use recovery

    The ideal candidate has personal or professional experience with HIV and demonstrates a strong understanding of the unique challenges, strengths, and needs of people living with HIV. Lived experience is welcomed and valued.

    Assist clients in developing personalized recovery plans and setting achievable goals

    Connect clients with community resources, treatment programs, and social services

    Accompany clients to set up appointments, support groups, and find community resources

    Assist Recovery Mobile Clinic Administration with establishing Peer Recovery Coach Protocols

    Assist with developement of Anti-Stigma and Stigma Free Training for staff, partners, community and Recovery Mobile Clinic Chapters.

    Document client interactions, progress notes, and service referrals accurately in our electrionic medical record (EMR)

    Participate in mobile clinic outreach efforts to engage individuals in underserved areas

    Collaborate with clinical staff, case managers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care

    Driving RV units and SUV units

    Utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and documenting encounters with clients

    Inputing Client information into the EMR system in a timely maner by end of day

    Stocking RV/SUV/Packout units with supplies

    Able to Lift Packouts (60 lbs)

    Cleaning RVs and SUVs after daily use

    Assisting with Stocking and Inventory

    Assisting with Weekend community event coordination, attendance and community engagement.

    Requirements:

    Personal lived experience with substance use disorder and a stable, sustained recovery minimum 2 years recovery.

    Must be able to pass a Drug Test due to driving requirement for position.

    Michigan Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) certification

    Strong knowledge of local recovery resources, treatment options, and community services

    Excellent communication, active listening, and motivational interviewing skills

    Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds

    Reliable transportation and valid Michigan driver's license preferred

    Proficiency in basic documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems a plus

    Obtain a Certified Medical Examination prior to hire- company reimbursed.

    Obtain a Cheuffers license prior to hire- Company reimbursed.
