WHAT THE ROLE IS: As our Principal, you are required to take complete charge and set the technology directions for both PeerIslands, and all of our engagements.

TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP

• Design and guide technical strategy for PeerIslands, and our clients
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and manage large enterprise cloud implementations across multiple projects
• Develop schedules for tracking program milestones, reviews, and client interfaces
• Assist Client Partners with technical solutions to drive annualized growth and financial performance across multiple engagements

CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGEMENT

• Provide guidance for a new client, either over a few months or full-time on a delivery project
• Lead and partner with stakeholders and clients to achieve goals for digital transformation
• Lead the planning, development and technical orchestrion for program solutions with various product and services teams within PeerIslands and our partner ecosystem, and introduce them to clients
• Lead face-to-face client reviews with senior management,
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and help them reach success in the shortest possible time

EXPERIENCE YOU WILL POSSESS:

• Multi-disciplinary cloud technology experience, especially in leading the solutioning and architecture for multi-year, large cloud engagements of $5m-$25m
• 7+ years of success in consultative/complex technical deployment projects
• Leadership experience on major transformation projects, and successful transitions to implementation support teams
• Ability to code, and ability to begin an implementation to get a project off the ground
• Ability to comfortably talking financial projections or business process modelling
• Travel ranges up to 80% depending on location, timing of program needs, and technical implementation of the program

SKILLS YOU WILL POSSESS:

• Ability to become trusted advisor to C-level executives
• Keen understanding of industry, business and challenges within the two, and articulate this with clients to create and deliver truly transformative, robust, scalable, elegant, flexible and relevant software solutions
• Good understanding of industry trends in digital transformation, software engineering and platform-based technology services, from idea to delivered results
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with independence and success
• Ability to use a consultative or advisory-based sales approach in a complex enterprise sales environment
• Highly collaborative, with Partner / Systems Integrator management skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 

• 12+ years software architecture experience 

• 5+ years experience with micro-services, event driven, or other cloud native architecture 

• 5+ years experience with one or more of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure or GCP 

• Experience in Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, Databases(SQL, NoSQL, Graph), object-oriented and functional programming concepts

• Working experience of 12-factor application development and SOLID Principles

• Expertise in developing distributed and Event Driven applications
