Job Description

Looking to hire an Entry Level Engineering Intern for a 3-month stretch from mid-September 2019 until mid-November 2019. This position will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager and work alongside other Design and Industrial Engineers.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:       

·         Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Experience:     

·         1 year of experience in Engineering via Internship or relevant coursework

ESSENTIAL RESULTS:

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Attention to Detail and organization skills are a key piece in this role
• To be able to work with production staff, engineers and other manufacturing plant members
• Intermediate-Expert in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with SolidWorks
•  Time Study experience
  • To Time Study a new machine on the manufacturing floor, along with capturing data via Microsoft Excel and report all information to direct Manager or Supervisor
• Basic knowledge of Sheet Metal Drawing
• To be able to do light calculations by reviewing drawings to determine new run rates
• Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Office setting with occasional entry in a non-climate controlled manufacturing plant.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and team lift (if needed) items 30+ lbs.
• Correct Personal Protective Equipment required when entering plant/warehouse, Safety Shoes.
