Childcare & Housekeeping - Flatiron NYC (5) Days per week 2:30 - 7:30PM --- (25) Total Hours per Week Compensation structure 1. open to hourly rate or 2. confirmed weekly salary for 32 hrs, or 3. Pick up 2 children (kindergarten and 3rd grade) from either elementary schools UWS or their bus stops in Flatiron 2. Care for children until relieved by the parents. This includes: Giving children healthy snacks, Preparing dinner, Taking children to afterschool activities (fixed weekly schedule of swimming, skating, acting, etc), Supervising children or tracking their whereabouts , Supervising occasional playdates (as directed) 3. Help with supervising childrens' homework or reading assignments as appropriate 4. Take the children to sports practice & practice. This will entail ensuring equipment is packed, and kids are dressed, etc. 5. Occasionally light housekeeping and errands as directed such as laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, organizing, directing children to clean up after themselves, and trips to nearby Grocery stores. 6. Preliminary meal preparation, both for kids and adults. Opportunities for additional time (@ an agreed upon rate) 1. Mornings: 6:30 - 8am (M-F) preparing kids breakfast and getting them ready and on school bus (7:10am and 7:45am) Background Check will be conducted prior to start date.
