Pelican Pools is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist us in our Hot Tub Department. We are the #1 Home Resort Products Retailer in the Northeast. The ability to lift, pull and push over 100 lbs is a requirement. A clean driving record and ability to be insured by our auto insurance provider is a requirement. The ability to be flexible with work hours and days is important. The job consists of delivering and moving Hot Tubs to customers around the area. You must be willing to learn basic hot tub maintenance. Other duties may be assigned. Previous experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Coordinating the daily routing of individual jobs with the Delivery Coordinator

Accurate and thorough completion of work orders

Document & communicate to customers any issues discovered at time of delivery

Work with customers and service team to facilitate timely resolution of any issues

Identify sales opportunities for additional products and services, and make recommendations

Timely completion of all paperwork

Update product knowledge on consistent basis through available channels

Ensure delivery vehicle is maintained at proper intervals

Occasional work in the warehouse as needed

Qualifications and Skills

To be qualified for this position applicants must:

Be able to use critical thinking skills to solve problems

Possess a high level of attention to detail

Possess at least an intermediate level of mechanical aptitude

Have an understanding of basic principles related to mechanical diagnosis and repair

Possess a current, valid PA state driver's license

Have no more than one minor moving infraction during the previous three years

Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance

Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance
