SHEFitPT is the premier pre/postnatal pelvic floor PT clinic in San Diego. We offer the highest quality care via one-on-one appointments with experienced pelvic floor PTs, who take a holistic approach to women's physical wellness throughout the lifespan.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for our next superstar! We seek a compassionate, energetic, experienced prenatal/postpartum pelvic floor physical therapist with a strong work ethic, commitment to patients, and desire to grow with the company. Start date is flexible - we are looking for the RIGHT fit, not just someone to fill an opening.

Want a full hour with every patient? Want to work with motivated clients who want to get better? Want to work with other passionate, experienced womens' health PTs in a friendly, fun, and respectful environment?

At SHEFitPT, we believe in providing the best care and customer service to clients with prenatal, postnatal, pelvic floor, and orthopedic conditions. We see about 80% pre/postnatal clients as well as other pelvic health conditions, and any orthopedic complaints that accompany them. We treat the WHOLE person - not just one assigned body part! We are passionate about helping women to have painfree, fit pregnancies, strong recoveries after birth, and smooth return to ALL their fitness and lifestyle activities - including high intensity training and heavy lifting!

As a hybrid clinic (we accept cash and Tricare ony), we are committed to providing excellent service based on high levels of training and experience. Our ideal candidate has completed intermediate level coursework in prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor assessment and treatment, and feels confident treating diastasis recti abdominis, prolapse, incontinence, tailbone pain, dyspareunia, pregnancy related pelvic girdle/low back pain, and guiding clients to return to higher level fitness activities like weightlifting and running. They must be excellent at determining patients' needs, and possess extraordinary communication skills to motivate women in achieving their goals. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable seeing clients with chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience with pregnancy/ female pelvic floor and 2+ years of experience with general outpatient orthopedics (time may overlap).

    • Levels 1&2 of Herman Wallace /APTA (or equivalent) Pelvic Floor coursework (must include vaginal and rectal assessment)

    • Pre and postnatal coursework, pre/postnatal athleticism coursework, and familiarity with current diastasis recti management strategies.

    • Candidates must feel ready to jump into an existing full caseload with high expectations for expert quality care, and must be comfortable utilizing a mix of active and manual therapy techniques.

This position may be part time or full time for the right candidate, and may require fluctuating hours to cover colleagues' absences. The ideal candidate will have a desire to grow to a full time position. Hours at multiple locations (Pacific Beach and Mission Valley) may be required, and some Saturday hours may be required.

We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include ongoing mentorship, continuing education, and paid time off for full time employees.

If this opportunity excites you, please reach out with your resume and cover letter and let's talk!

Extra consideration will be given to applicants who submit a video recording of why they would be an excellent fit at our clinic. Videos can be submitted via Indeed or to sheri@shefitpt.com.
