    Pendella is a fast-growing startup technology company bringing decades of industry expertise, innovation, and intelligent business design to fulfill one purpose: to make the financial protection of individual life and disability insurance available to all people, regardless of age, health, or income level.

    The consumer sales agent will be responsible for life and disability insurance sales to consumer leads via phone, screenshare and email. The consumer sales agent will be responsible for following through with a product and sales training program, where they will be taught the systems and processes that must be adhered to in this role. The consumer sales agent will be tasked with following up with leads that are generated by the Pendella marketing team and turning those leads into sales. This role will have monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals expectations. 

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for selling and assisting inbound leads that are driven by the marketing team

    • Completing Life and Disability telephonic applications with consumers

    • Strive to improve satisfaction through exemplary customer service

    • Maintain a high level of knowledge about existing products and services

    • Meet or exceed sales goals through utilizing generated leads 

    • Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments

    • Keeping up to date salesforce records of your leads and opportunities

    • Cross and upselling current clients

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • None

     

    REQUIREMENTS SKILLS & ABILITIES 

    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience with Google Workspace a must 

    • Experience with a CRM; Salesforce preferred

    • The ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment 

    • Must be comfortable with telephonic or zoom/screen share sales and communications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • High School Degree or Equivalent 

    • 2+ years of sales experience, life insurance a plus but not needed

    • Life insurance license will be required to be obtained within the first 30 days of hire, if not licensed at the time of offer

    • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
