    Position: Logistics Coordinator

    The Logistics Coordinator is to provide logistics and administrative support to all departments of Penguin Air, Plumbing, and Electrical with the specific purpose of increasing efficiency and profitability. Through this supporting role, department heads, supervisors, and personnel will have increased capacity to focus on their primary roles maximizing their own productivity and profitability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Warehouse and fleet inventory management
    • Implement inventory control processes to maintain accurate counts and forecasting
    • Materials and equipment pickup, delivery, and returns
    • Conduct daily inventory replenishment for technician vehicles
    • Conduct quarterly inventory audits for warehouse and fleet
    • Creating and receiving of purchase orders
    • Manage supplier relationships
    • Ensure warranty returns are completed weekly and credits returned to Accounting
    • Coordinate weekly safety training email and in-person safety training classes
    • Coordinate with insurance, documenting necessary information on automobile accidents, workers compensation, and company property.
    • Collaborate with Operations Coordinator on fleet management and monitoring, uniforms, and facility needs.
    • Produce reports and analyze results
    • Safely operate a forklift and train and certify personnel as needed
    • Maintain housekeeping daily
    • All other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in warehouse environment
    • Inventory management experience
    • Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency
    • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
    • Able to work overtime
    • Individual must be able to work independently and/or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Valid Arizona driver's license
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

    Working Conditions

    • Work is performed in a warehouse environment in hot/humid conditions on a regular basis.
    • Exerting over 100 lbs. occasionally, 50-100 lbs. frequently, or up to 0-50 lbs. constantly
