JOB POSTING SECTION
PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE
Provide administrative and clerical support for the Adult Ministry team. Manage adult members within the church database and provide regular reporting to the Adult Team. This position will support various main office functions including: preparing correspondence, answering phones, monitoring office inventory and ordering supplies, maintaining calendars, and various other assignments as needed. Ensure communication across departments and to the congregation.
PRINCIPLE WORKING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to the Adult Ministry Pastor. The position interfaces with all ministries throughout PCC and has interaction with church members, volunteers, and the broader community.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Database records maintenance, support, and training.
Manage inter-department and volunteer communication
Departmental calendaring and coordination
Maintains meeting space, offices and storage. Ensure necessary supplies are available.
Provide administrative support in the following areas:
Event planning support that could be similar to including promotion, registration support, facilities or rentals communication, and budget tracking.
Weekly support for department leads for facilities and calendaring purposes
Support staff for use of technology for Check-In Systems, reports and PCO resources
Support for department leads to help communicate items to appropriate teams at PCC
Support Adult Ministry external communications with coordination, design and support.
Manage email and mail communication from Adult Ministries to volunteer teams, the congregation at large, and outside groups/individuals.
Oversee and provide for the production of internal and external publications for Adult Ministries. Create and maintain templates, forms, and procedures for regular and special communications.
Provide administrative support for the Adults Pastor in the following areas:
Track purchases and prepares expense reports; support budget development
Manage attendance tracking data
Prepare agendas and handouts for events
Track volunteer availability and scheduling
Ensure welcoming environment for volunteers

Proficient with Mac, PC, Google Calendar/Docs/Sheets, and MS office software.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Mission minded faithful follower of Jesus
Bachelor’s degree desired
Previous successful experience in an office environment
Experience in a church, school or community setting is highly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extensive walking on 14 acre campus, including stairs required
Must have a clean, current DMV record
Must be able to lift, transport and set up equipment up to 20 pounds
Provide a DOJ background clearance
Must adhere to and model PCC’s Safe Church policies
WORKWEEK
This job is part-time with an average of 20 hours per week.
This position is primarily a weekday job, however, occasional weekend, evening and holiday work is expected.
