  • Responsibilities

    The Training and Development Coordinator provides guidance and leadership in training the employees of Lake Shore Savings Bank.  As a Training and Development Coordinator you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of Lake Shore Savings Bank’s training and development programs.
    • Trains new employees of Lake Shore Savings Bank on core system equipment and applications. Is responsible for the coordination of training with the Compliance and Security Departments.
    • Will educate staff on effective and accurate processing of customer account transactions and new account opening; ensuring procedural consistency across the branch network. Work with employees to help them find the right product for the right customer

    Required Skills

    • Ability to read and develop written procedures, regulations, policies, and complex written instructions, and interpret them effectively to management and staff.
    • Must present excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Is required to maintain a current knowledge of Lake Shore Savings’ products and services in order to provide outstanding customer service to Lake Shore Savings’ customers.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development/banking or a related environment.
    • Degree in communications/training a plus, but not required.
  • Qualifications
    • Ability to read and develop written procedures, regulations, policies, and complex written instructions, and interpret them effectively to management and staff.
    • Must present excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Is required to maintain a current knowledge of Lake Shore Savings’ products and services in order to provide outstanding customer service to Lake Shore Savings’ customers.
