    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The HTK Advisor Support & Business Development Director provides proactive support to HTK’s registered representatives, as well as to the Managing Partners and Regional Directors.  The position focuses on dedicated training and support of the broker-dealer products, tools and services offered to advisors and recruiting/onboarding assistance to the Field Leadership so that more advisors join our broker-dealer.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Support the development of HTK educational programs and training material
    • Assess and prioritize the need for material so that multiple offices and audiences can leverage
    • Create content in a variety of formats that can be leveraged by multiple stakeholders (i.e. presentations, written scripts, outlines for live training classes, teaching aides, etc.
    • Deliver training as required – via web, live meeting, company events, recorded videos, etc
    • Deliver producer support to help advisors take advantage of our products, tools and technology. Increase awareness and usage
    • Seek feedback on advisor needs and participate in home office efforts to evolve our offerings and support
    • Consult with Field Leaders on embedding HTK training and support into agency/regional efforts
    • Support Field Leaders by servicing as member of team responsible for recruiting to the broke-dealer and onboarding into the PML/HTK way of conducting business
    • Support field staff, as required, to promote best practices in the local agencies/regions and support HTK registered reps from on-boarding through ongoing business processing/growth
    • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines
    • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures
    • Remains current in profession and industry trends
    • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
    • Performs other duties/projects as assigned

    Required Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent listening and follow-up skills
    • Strong customer service orientation and focus on building strong relationships
    • Highly collaborative, as successful candidate will work with home office associates, field personnel, management, and HTK’s product and technology partners
    • Ability to defer own priorities for larger team priorities that may need more focus

    Required Experience

    • 7+ years’ financial services experience
    • Background in life insurance a plus
    • Understanding of financial advisors and/or broker-dealer products and tools preferred

     

    EDUCATION/LICENSES/PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS 

    • Series 7 required and 65/66 preferred.
