PennCares is a non-profit agency providing services to children and adults with special needs. We are hiring a Child Development Group Teacher to lead an inclusive early learning classroom for children of all abilities 18 months to three years old. Responsibilities include: Develop and implement an appropriate curriculum Plan daily activities to foster individual development of all children Be knowledgeable of each child's needs and strengths Prepare the classroom for daily activities Be knowledgeable of child development milestones from birth through three years Clean up and wash toys as needed Be able to communicate with parents in a professional manner Requirements Include: Ability to lift 25 pounds and sit on the floor Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle Obtain clean PA Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearance Benefits Include: Paid training and orientation Mileage and travel reimbursement Schedule: Weekday Mornings Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with young children with special needs
