The responsibilities of the Yard Jockey will encompass: • Safety maneuver all vehicles within yard • Organize yard • Dock trucks for loading • Park trucks in assigned spots for dispatch • Adhere to cleaning schedule for assigned area’s • Other duties as identified

Required Skills

The successful candidate will possess: • High School Diploma or GED • At least 1 - 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles • Ability to successfully pass the Maryland Department of Transportation road test. • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle, deck plates, handcart, hand jack, and other equipment as required by the employer • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Must hold necessary licensing requirements and credentials to operate assigned vehicles
