Pennybyrn has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant (part-time) to join our innovative, inclusive, and compassionate life-enriching community!
Responsibilities of this position:
We are hiring a part-time person to assist our Accounts Payable department with processing outgoing payments, perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording data, reconcile the A/P ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and posted properly, and verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements, as well as other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have experience in a financial or accounting capacity, have a great personality, attention to detail, and extremely accurate accounting skills. This position's schedule is flexible, but must equal 10 hours per week in a consistent manner (i.e. 2 hours per day for 5 days, or 5 hours per day for 2 days).
