As the worlds first data-first winery, were part of the wine business from grape to glass: not just making the wines but getting it directly into the hands of customers. Our largest and most profitable distribution channel is our wine club business, Firstleaf, which uses machine learning technology to match the perfect wine selections to each customer based on their preferences and ratings.

    Our wine club, Firstleaf grew from 0 to 150,000+ active members in less than 5 years. Thats just the beginning of our plans to change the wine industry, and were looking for passionate individuals to join our team.

    In conjunction with the COO, this individual will support crafting and executing the strategy for Business Transformation and Supply Chain Digitization. Participate in the development and execution of the Operations strategic plan, which will incorporate industry best practices and strive towards optimizing business process and systems. Introduce innovation and help build the roadmap and metrics to achieve Operational Excellence.

    Reporting to the COO, the Head of Supply Chain Product Development will help identify key industry trends and innovations, as well as assess opportunities to improve our end-to-end capabilities to bring the right supply chain solutions for serving our customers in a faster, more efficient and seamless way. Additionally, you will be a key player within the Operations team to help support the growth of our brand to grow in a smart and scalable way via new markets and channels. You will collaborate, influence, and strategize with cross-functional partners to understand business priorities, design business solutions, and lead implementation from piloting to scaling of ongoing and new supply chain initiatives. You will be responsible for detailed analysis, executive level presentations, and stakeholder management to drive alignment and buy-in of said strategies and plans. We are looking for someone who loves to get ones hands dirty, problem solve, and drive change across the organization.

    This position will be responsible to ensure strategies, tactical plans, and decisions are aligned with the vision of the organization, leveraging data and analytics to ensure successful execution. Collaborate effectively with cross functional team members in Technology, Business Development, Customer Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Compliance, and Finance to direct, communicate, and support the initiatives. Have deep expertise in Program Management with Supply Chain knowledge and solid understanding of Business architecture and how to partner with IT on the development of new capabilities to support the initiatives.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 8+ years' experience in a senior product management position involving a B2C product, ideally e-commerce or subscription service based.
    • 3+ years experience in leading a UI / UX product design team
    • Proven ability to define, clearly communicate, and lead the execution of a digital product strategy and roadmap, stemming from a clearly articulated product vision
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with a rich blend of analytical, creative, and strategic talents in order to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with professionalism and clarity.
    • Ability to define and analyze numerous product metrics (from Google Analytics and other tools), ability to think strategically and know when and how to apply each in order to influence the success of new features and review performance of existing ones
    • Detail orientated; superior problem solving and organizational and skills; and an ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
    • Track record of designing, growing, developing and nurturing distributed teams
    • Understand the software development lifecycle and can outline product requirements in a technical manner that makes it easy for a developer to understand
