Job Description: Pentair is currently seeking a HR Intern to provide support in carrying out human resources functions such as recruitment, workforce management and new hire orientation for multiple sites in Minnesota. The intern will be based in our New Brighton, MN manufacturing plant. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today! Duties and Responsibilities: Manage hourly employee recruitment process, which includes; partnering with Operations Leaders to identify available openings, posting open positions on job boards, reviewing applicants, scheduling and participating in interviews, preparing offers, and scheduling pre-employment testing Conduct new employee orientation and prepare materials for this event Liaison between hiring managers and staffing vendors Maintain information on human resource information system (Workday); maintain employee files and personnel records Completion of weekly reports on employment activity Skills and Experience Requirements: Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently Excellent organizational skills to provide efficient and timely follow up to deadlines Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer Diversity and Inclusion: With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
