    We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone to own the people side of the business — especially recruiting.

A people-first operator who can build relationships with technicians, service advisors, drivers, and managers across multiple locations.

Someone who is highly organized, operational, and detail-oriented, able to manage hiring pipelines, onboarding processes, and employee records while keeping things moving.

A professional who understands the reality of working with skilled trades and operational teams — where things move fast and no two days are the same.

Someone who rolls up their sleeves, solves problems quickly, and knows how to balance professionalism with practical decision-making.

A trusted internal resource who can provide feedback, coach employees, and help managers navigate performance issues and workplace challenges.

    What Matters

Talent: You know how to find and attract strong candidates, and how to close them. You are comfortable screening candidates and and helping managers hire the right people quickly.

    Relationships:

You build strong relationships with employees and managers across locations. You become a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and career conversations.

Operations: You help keep the people side of the business running smoothly. You take the time to understand our business and how it functions. You help employees grow by providing constructive feedback, performance conversations, and development guidance. You support managers in addressing performance issues early and fairly.

HR Administration & Operations: Oversee and manage all HR administration including processing payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, leaves of absence, performance issues, policies and procedures, etc.

    About You

This is not a traditional HR desk role. You enjoy working with operational teams and being directly involved in building and supporting strong teams. You are comfortable in environments that are fast-paced, practical, and performance-driven.

You understand that great companies are built through great hiring, clear expectations, and consistent performance management.

What Leads to Success in This Role

You genuinely enjoy recruiting and building teams.

You are comfortable giving employees clear feedback and coaching them on performance.

You are organized and operational, able to keep hiring pipelines and HR processes running smoothly.

You are proactive and take ownership of problems rather than waiting for direction.

Have the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Work well under pressure and meeting deadlines

No task is too small for you to tackle, and you take a team approach to anything thrown at you

    Desirable skills & Experience:

5-7+ years experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations

Experience recruiting for skilled trades, automotive, construction, logistics, or similar operational roles

Experience conducting performance conversations, employee coaching, or disciplinary discussions

    Experience supporting multi-location retail operations

Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems (ADP, Rippling, Slack, etc)
