    Job Description

    AS THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER, YOU WILL:

    • Prepare, post, and document financial transactions and journal entries per GAAP.
    • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries (monthly, adjusting, and/or recurring) and related reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing.
    • Reconcile and research financial discrepancies by collecting and evaluating account information and recommending solutions.
    • Provide accounting support as needed for hospital acquisitions
    • Prepare and research monthly Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and P&L variance analysis for Hospitals, Locations, and Regions.
    • Provide information for the external auditors and tax professionals as part of their annual audit of the financial statements and income tax preparation.
    • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to promote communication to the broader organization.
    • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to boost and build a high-growth accounting organization.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA or Master's in Accounting Degree preferred.
    • 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience of a high growth multi-state/multi-entity company with annual revenue > $100 million
    • Demonstrates logical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel proficiency and a desire to build and develop these skills
    • Proficiency with Sage Intacct or similar Mid-Market Accounting Systems a plus
    • Team player and ability to work freely
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with varying deadlines.
    • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
