What do we need?

We are looking for a customer-service focused individual who has a strong interest in serving the community. The ideal candidate would have food service experience with leadership and Microsoft Office skills. This is a rewarding opportunity to help feed and connect with families experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities for Nutrition Aide:

Manage guest food allergy communication process to ensure that staff have appropriate special food allergy meals ready for guests.

Assist with meal delivery to guest rooms or congregate meal service.

Assist with inventory and supporting food preparation for following day.

Manage meal delivery teams and train new delivery members.

Complete monthly guest satisfaction surveys and guest outreach activities.

Requirements for Nutrition Aide:

Strong experience in customer service, preferably in the food industry.

Willing to enforce policies amongst staff and guests including commitment to maintaining food service hygiene standards.

Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Strong organization and detail-oriented skills to work successfully with forms and paperwork.

Strong leadership skills and ability to train other staff and volunteers.

Must be able to push/pull carts weighing up to 75 lbs.

Pay and Benefits for Nutrition Aide:

$17.00 per hour plus $2,000 hiring bonus
