We are hiring a Lead Engineer to join our client’s team in a full time role in Irvine, CA. This is a well established company that prides itself on being at the forefront of big data and analytics. As part of the innovation team you will build code and architect the latest solutions. You will work on building next-generation solutions using cloud operating platforms and big data technologies, and extreme agile software developments

What you will do:

• Architect and develop an analytical sandbox used to dive into customer’s data
• Code on daily basis and lead a team of developers
• Partner with external companies to provide data insights
• Create scalable solutions that can be used by external and internal partners

Requirement:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
• Strong Unix/Linux experience

Nice to have:

• 3+ years of full stack development using AngularJS or node.js
• Experience with Oracle commerce cloud
• Experience with Big Data including Spark, Hive and Google Cloud Platform
• Other technologies: NoSQL, Kafkta, Rabbit MQ
