OPPORTUNITY SYNOPSIS
Responsible for supporting essential business functions by providing systems and Configurations analysis support for Production Support, Enhancements, Projects and Mergers & Acquisitions for business systems according to specifications and schedules while meeting quality requirements, maintaining in-depth understanding of all business processes and requirements, resolving day-to-day system issues related to performance, efficiency, and availability of production systems within area of responsibility. Collaborates and closely work with/Key Customers include relevant Business/IT stakeholder.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 12+ years of SAP FI and CO experience with an understanding of the integration points with other SAP modules
- Experience in SAP FICO Module and cross-module experience.
- Experience with SD/ FI and MM/FI Integration
- Experience in SAP ECC Configuration
- Experience configuring multiple SAP modules OR experience across multiple industries.
- Communicating task status/issues to IS management and project leaders.
Ensuring that project success criteria are met. - May require up to 80% travel
- Multiple Industries including Public Sector, Airline, Manufacturing, Automotive, Banking, Logistics, Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech, Technology, Chemical, Oil/Gas, etc.

SAP FUNCTIONAL PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

- Evaluates the demands in talking with the customer's representatives, transforms the essence into an abstract and algorithmic business model. Hence, they identify the use cases and transforms them into logical and technical views.
- Customizes the respective business area and making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the requested use case.
- Documents the settings and prepares proper guidelines that allow other consultants to do further changes or repairs with due efforts.
- Takes care that proper training is given to the users and that the system is usable, performing appropriately and the business flow is complete and correct.
- During go-live, they assist the technical staff by testing the behavior of the system. After go-live, they guarantee that the procedures remain usable and consistent in a live situation and propose enhancements.
- The main duty of a consultant is to transfer external know-how to the client. It is not manpower that counts but intelligence, understanding of processes, a feeling for defects and general a common sense.
- Expected to generate knowledge about the current business process, design current business flows, study current business processes and its complication, in all we can say getting through with current business setup. Flow diagrams and DFD are prepared, most of the time in Vision format, all this forms the part of AS-IS document.
- Everything configured must be documented as per their categories in the form of predefined templates, these have to be then approved by the team leads or whoever the consultant is reporting to.
- Mapping and GAP analysis for each module.
- Functional consultants may be also expected to prepare/participate in test scripts for testing the configured scenarios as well as deliver end-user manual and/or user training.
