    Job Description

    FULL STACK DEVELOPER

    Our client is on a mission to build and implement technologies to solve the decentralization and fragmentation of the parking industry. They are a team of young industry experts who recently pivoted away from parking operations into selling an enterprise SaaS solution. By syncing all 3rd-party platforms, they provide the clients (parking operators) with an all-in-one dashboard where they can manage inventory and rates for all their locations.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: They are looking for a talented and passionate full-stack developer to help build and scale their platform. Your role will not only be a developer. They are a small team and every team member does a little bit of everything. That being said, you will be tasked with project management, speaking with customers, and developing the product. Furthermore, you will need to interact with other technical people working on the project (other frontend & backend developers). We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Own the internal technology strategy and operations (team included).
    • Develop a scalable architecture using cutting-edge technologies.
    • Improve the product’s backend/frontend features.
    • Help to maintain and improve code quality and organization.
    • Build and improve existing agile Software Development Lifecycle.
    • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
    • Be a driving force in the company's leadership team - share your passion, thoughts and help us build a great company that attracts top talent.

    WHO THEY WANT:

    • You don’t necessarily have all the skills now, but you have a high drive to learn.
    • You master or are keen to develop your communication skills, leadership, and organizational abilities.
    • You write clean, modular, testable code.
    • You have a problem-solving aptitude.
    • You are up-to-date with the industry practices (agile, versioning and security).
    • You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or an equivalence in experience.

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • 4+ years of industry experience working on backend/frontend services is required!
    • You have built strong and scalable infrastructure using AWS, including but not limited to lambda, docker and load balancers.
    • You have experience working with database technology such as Mongo DB, as well as back-end languages like NodeJS.
    • You have experience building apps using React.
    • Skill in building web scrapping code
