    Job Description

    VICE PRESIDENT - MARKETING

    Our client is a growing social media company that is an outstanding alternative to Facebook.  They are against doing what Facebook is doing:  analyzing and selling user data to marketers.   Additionally, they are against manipulation and are for freed of speech and common decency.   Users have lost control of their content, data, and privacy.  Our client is out to fix this problem.  They are in hyper-growth mode and are looking for an experienced VP - Marketing to join their team.  This position will be a virtual/remote position with office access in the future.

    AS THE VP – MARKETING, YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Created meaningful marketing strategies and plans around user acquisition, influencer and strategic partnerships, and revenue targets
    • Leading all marketing initiatives for the company, including digital, content, partner, customer, email, etc.
    • Setting and executing an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue.
    • Maintaining key customer relationships and developing/implementing strategies for expanding the company’s user base.

    AS THE VP – MARKETING, YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD INCLUDE:

    • 7+ years in a Marketing leadership role in the Social Media space.
    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and being know for being hands-on in everything you do.
    • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers.
    • Prior and/or current start-up experience and know-how to take a company from inception to exponential success/successful exit.
    • Strong operational and analytical abilities.
    • Strategic marketing experience and revenue achievement in the Social Media space.
    • Wanting to be part of disrupting the Social Media landscape
    • Believing in freedom of speech tempered by common decency.
    • The desire to be part of a team of go-getters without egos (no prima donnas here!)
    • Getting things done - you are strategic and tactical - rolling up your sleeves is what you do, not what you delegate.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
    • Highly competitive and driven with an unparalleled work ethic.
