    Job Overview:

    The State of Ohio is looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Financials Consultant to support and manage its PeopleSoft ERP system (version 9.x). The job is based in Columbus, Ohio, and requires working onsite. You'll be helping with daily operations, solving system issues, and working with both business users and technical teams to keep everything running smoothly.

    What You’ll Do:

    Support the PeopleSoft Financials system used by the State of Ohio.

    Work with teams to fix system problems and improve processes.

    Help manage vendors who provide technical support.

    Make sure the system works well and meets deadlines.

    Review and help improve business documents and system upgrades.

    Help with testing and reviewing new features or system changes.

    Keep track of file transfers and notify users about system updates or outages.

    Must-Have Experience:

    At least 3 years working with PeopleSoft ERP, especially Financials (version 9.x).

    Strong knowledge of modules like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger, Budget, Procurement, Asset Management, Travel & Expense, etc.

    Experience supporting or managing financial systems.

    Good communication skills (spoken and written).

    Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    Experience working in the public/government sector.

    Worked with large consulting or system integration firms.

    Familiar with PeopleSoft system upgrades, patches, or enhancements.

    Experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

    Certifications like PMP, ITIL, or PeopleSoft are a plus.

    A college degree is preferred.
