    As a Service Technician for Peppers' Heating & Air, you will be a valued member of our team. A Peppers' Heating & Air Service Tech. is responsible for troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing recommendations for improving customers' HVAC systems. Peppers' has a Senior Service Technician that can help answer any HVAC-related questions you have on the job and a motivating Service Manager that will help you reach your career goals.

    We have a very loyal customer base that relies greatly on the honesty and integrity of Peppers' Heating & Air. As a Lead Service Technician, you will need to be an outstanding communicator, tactful, dependable, and helpful to all customers. You must be able to accurately diagnose all residential system types, and be able to fully explain to the customer what is happening. Service Technician duties include:

    Performing routine HVACR service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.

    Communication with other members of Peppers' Heating & Air effectively about parts, return calls, and general customer satisfaction.

    Conducting point-of-work sales of IAQ services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and residential service contracts.

    Developing lead referrals for the sales staff.

    Conducting non-service work in support of the IAQ and Installation Departments, as assigned.

    Performing service-related duties as directed by the Service Manager.

    Job Qualifications:

    High school graduate

    Four or more years of successful experience as an HVAC service technician.

    Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with residential customers, suppliers, and other (Peppers Heating & Air Conditioning Service Inc. employees.

    Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in (state).

    Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his or her HVACR skills through a combination of company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.

    Georgia driver's license and the ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment. Incumbent must be insurable by current Peppers Heating & Air Conditioning Service Inc. insurance carrier
