    About the position...

    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to maintain and run a variety of human resource programs, including payroll administration, for our two companies, Pepsi-Cola of Worcester, MA and Pepsi-Cola of Windham, CT. This position is located at our main office in Holden, MA. 

    As the head of the HR & Payroll Department, you will be depended on for your assistance in a number of important functions such as staffing, compensation and benefits, and training and development.

    Due to the diversity of responsibilities of the role, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful individual with a passion for Payroll & HR.

    The goal is to ensure the Payroll & HR department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

    This position will have a starting salary of $60,000-$65,000 dependent on experience.

    Payroll & HR Generalist responsibilities are:

    • Managing recruitment process and updating procedures when necessary

    • Overseeing the recruitment process for all departments between two companies

    • Maintaining records

    • Processing payroll on a weekly basis

    • Managing benefits plans

    • Managing and ensuring compliance with union contracts

    • Creating new HR and Payroll processes when process improvements are found

    • Selecting the appropriate job advertising methods

    • Informing team about the hiring techniques

    • Administering the employee onboarding/position change/offboarding process.

    • Taking part in career exhibitions

    Payroll & HR Generalist requirements are:

    • Experience in human resources

    • Experience in payroll administration

    • Providing compensation plans

    • Aiding in the recruitment processes

    • Implementing  programs to create an efficient workplace

    • Monitoring compensation performance

    • Being able to utilize HR metrics

    • Competency with Microsoft Office and Windows 10

    • Effective communication skills

    • BA/BSc in Human Resource Management or a related field
