    In business for 67 years, we are a family-owned and operated beverage distribution facility in Holden, MA.

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in addressing employee needs and facilitating various administrative tasks. This part-time position requires 20-25 hours per week and offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our organization's human resources department. This position requires availability M-F 9am-2pm and is not a remote position.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Employee Support: Assist employees with inquiries regarding HR-related matters, including but not limited to changing direct deposits, updating personal information, scheduling employee meetings, etc.

    2. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as filing paperwork, organizing benefit documents, and maintaining accurate records in HR databases.

    3. Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires by scheduling interviews, preparing new hire packets, collecting required documentation, and finalizing employee files while adhering to federal, state, and company policies.

    4. Policy Compliance: Help ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures by monitoring employee records, tracking attendance, and documenting disciplinary actions as directed.

    5. Communication: Maintain open communication channels with employees and management to address concerns, provide guidance, and facilitate resolutions to HR-related issues.

    Qualifications:

    1. Experience: Previous experience in HR administrative roles preferred. HR Certification may replace previous experience.

    2. Knowledge: Familiarity with HR processes, payroll systems, and employment laws/regulations. Daily use of Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

    3. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and managers.

    4. Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

    5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and documentation.

    6. Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

    7. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
