Responsibilities: • Provide carefully documented patient information in charts for multiple vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level • Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed • Sanitize and clean patient’s room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning • Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages • Work with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical health Qualifications: • Experience and knowledge working with bedridden patients and those who suffer from age-related illness such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred • Capable of administering catheters and enemas, preferred, but not required • Job seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GED • Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college • Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
