VitalCheck Wellness, serving as the administrative agent for California Coastal Physicians, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver on-site occupational health services for employees of a private business with multiple locations across Los Angeles, CA. As part of this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial health screenings, administering vaccines, performing physical assessments, TB testing, and urine drug screenings.

VitalCheck manages administrative logistics and facilitates scheduling, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to practice preventive and personalized medicine in a supportive, structured setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite clinical evaluations and general wellness assessments.
• Administer vaccinations and perform CLIA-waived point-of-care testing.
• Complete program forms and ensure accurate documentation.
• Conduct virtual reviews of lab results, as required and approved.
• Comply with facility policies as well as infection-control and clinical guidelines while onsite.

Requirements:

• Active clean Nurse Practitioner license to practice in __ California.

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified.

• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.

• A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.

• Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room preferred.

• Previous experience with the following clinical skills:
  Initial health screenings
  Comprehensive physical assessments
  Vaccine administration
  TB screenings (placement and reading)
  Urine drug screenings
  Phlebotomy (blood draws and specimen handling)

• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Personal laptop or tablet required.

• Flexibility in scheduling with the ability to pick up multiple shifts across different clinic locations as needed.

• Must be able to reliably commute throughout Los Angeles, CA.
