Registered Nurse (RN) – Ventilator / G-Tube / Skilled Nursing (Private Duty)

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Schedule: 25 hours/week Pay: $55–$60/hr (W2) Agency: BrightStar Care of Camden & Cherry Hill

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ventilator-trained RN to provide skilled private-duty care for an adult client in Cherry Hill. This case requires ventilator oversight, G-tube feeding, medication management, and ongoing clinical assessments. The assignment offers consistent weekly hours and strong DON support.

Required Clinical Skills

Candidates must be fully competent in:

Ventilator management & safety checks

Trach care and suctioning

G-tube/PEG feeding & equipment care

Airway emergency response

Skilled nursing assessments

Medication administration (oral & enteral)

Ventilator experience is REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities

Manage ventilator settings, monitoring, alarms, and documentation

Perform suctioning, airway clearance, and respiratory assessments

Administer G-tube feedings, flushes, and maintain equipment

Provide safe medication administration and update MARs

Monitor vitals, safety, and clinical changes

Communicate updates to the Director of Nursing

Document skilled nursing care per NJ regulations and BrightStar standards

Support personal care tasks as needed

Qualifications

Active NJ RN license

Ventilator experience required

Trach & suctioning competency

G-tube/PEG experience

CPR/BLS certification

Strong independent clinical judgment

Reliable transportation
