    TITLE: Sourcing Manager, Part-time  REPORTS TO: SVP, People LOCATION: Dallas, TX / Chicago, IL (open to any of our campus locations, Central Time Zone preferred)

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    Per Scholas’ People Team is looking for an experienced talent sourcing professional to take ownership of our direct sourcing needs to generate candidate lists and place cold calls to prospective non profit candidates. You’ll build and manage candidate lists with our People Team to proactively address our business needs for our existing and projected markets. 

    The ideal candidate will have experience in sophisticated direct sourcing techniques including Boolean, Xray, Social Listening, etc. In addition to networking, cold calling, and social media strategies to fill positions across all levels of our organization. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    In this role, you will…

    • Work closely with members of the People Team and hiring managers to understand job requirements and how the position fits into the organization
    • Screen resumes and applications to determine fit for the open or future roles
    • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of resume mining, Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
    • Assist in the development of talent pipelines for future hiring needs
    • Assist with scheduling of candidate interviews
    • Update and maintain with accuracy the JAZZHR Applicant Tracking System
    • Help create a positive candidate experience by:
    • Ensuring candidates are moving through the hiring process in a timely manner
    • Honest and prompt communication to candidates and hiring managers
    • Adequate follow up
    • Communicate with hiring managers, candidates, applicants, and others in professional manner
    • Meet with other members of the People Team on a regular basis
    • Additional duties as required

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US: Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
    • At least 3 years of applicable experience 
    • Experience sourcing passive candidates to fill open positions
    • Experience building and managing candidate pipelines to meet future hiring needs
    • Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion and influencing skills
    • Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating insights into qualified candidates
    • Functional expertise in navigating applicant tracking systems and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms etc)
    • Experience recruiting and/or sourcing in the Tech industry is a plus
