    The role of the Software Quality Assurance Manager is to oversee the Software QA team and be accountable for capturing and driving defects to root-cause, ensuring products and internal system software is defect free. Youll also partner with internal stakeholders to implement preventative methodology across the organization without impeding operational flexibility and agility

    What You Will Do:

    • Ensure team is enabled to define high level test plans, create test cases and execute them (both manually and automatically) for functional, integration, system and full regression testing, based on requirements and user stories.
    • Act as final acceptance gate for all product and system code changes.
    • Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service or business processes.
    • Work within a continuous integration, agile software development lifecycle to test newproduct features consisting of experienced software developers, a scrum master andproduct owners.
    • Gather requirements from clients, customers or end-users to develop the best testingsolutions.
    • Applies, develops and maintains software testing standards, techniques and procedures.
    • Develop, administer and maintain manual and automated software quality testingmethodologies and tools.
    • Requires facilitation of teams focused on root-cause analysis.
    • Help develop and maintain key testing and bug tracking metrics.
    • Involved in 1-on-1 and team training.
    • Works with other organizations to align best practices, utilizing collaborative approach insupport of a Quality Culture.

    REQUIREMENTS

    What You Will Bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 10+ years applied experience as a Software Quality Analyst, or equivalent, is a technology company.
    • Experience working in an Agile team structure is a plus.
    • Prior people management experience.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Experience testing web-based applications.
    • Understanding of network configurations and how to test them.
    • Knowledge of intermediate SQL commands.
    • Programing skills in languages such as C#, SQL, Python, and Java.
    • Must be proficient in MS Excel including the use of advanced Excel Functions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong process orientation; attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Technical planning, project management, and implementation skills.
    • Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders of varying levels of expertise.
    • Ability to translate defects into business impacts, compliance risk, procedures and process changes, and user needs.
