    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Media Intern will provide support to the media planning team across a variety of channels and deliverables. Job responsibilities include using tools and mining data that will help develop plan recommendations, assisting in the contracting and implementation of approved media buys, assisting in ongoing buy maintenance and reporting, and assisting in billing reconciliation.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in the media planning process: initial brainstorm, media research, RFP process, media strategy and plan development
    • Assist in execution and maintenance of media campaigns by helping to prepare insertions orders, media authorizations and updating media flowcharts
    • Help to manage creative trafficking spec sheets for creative partners and client
    • Assist in Trafficking and Q/A of all digital creative within ad server technology
    • Assist in vendor billing reconciliation
    • Work with insights & Data Strategists to assist in preparing campaign media reports
    • Learn to properly leverage media research tools such as Simmons OneView
    • Help to prepare competitive spending research reports and ad hoc client requests i.e. POVs
    • Help to coordinate meetings with publishers in an effort to keep updated on industry trends
    • Support managers on other various projects and tasks as requested
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or other formal educational route required with coursework in advertising, marketing, and/or communications preferred
    • Voracious curiosity, (asking why? and what next?) and the ability to make lateral leaps in thinking 
    • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills        
    • Analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities
    • Self-starter, solutions-oriented
    • Strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once
     
    

    Additional Information

    Internship applications will be accepted through April 30, 2021. Internships will take place for 8 weeks from June to July, 2021.
