About the Role:

Join Jacob Hamilton Gardens Inc in East Hampton, NY as a Perennial Garden/Flower Pots Care specialist! This exciting position offers you the opportunity to work with beautiful plants and contribute to creating stunning landscapes that bring joy to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and care for flower pots and garden beds, ensuring optimal plant health.

Monitor soil moisture levels and apply appropriate watering techniques.

Prune, deadhead, and fertilize plants as needed to promote growth.

Identify and manage pests and diseases using sustainable practices.

Assist in designing and arranging plant displays for seasonal changes.

Collaborate with team members to enhance overall garden aesthetics.

Provide excellent customer service by answering client inquiries about plant care.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

Previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge of plant care, including watering, fertilizing, and pest management.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for gardening.

Excellent communication skills for client interactions.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as pots and soil bags.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
