    Job Description

    JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - PARTIALLY REMOTE - TEMP 6-MONTHS - MILL VALLEY - TO $25/HOUR

    Well regarded Real Estate Investment Company seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support treasury analysts and treasury manager with reporting, operational, and compliance needs.

    Exciting opportunity for a recent grad with a BA/BS in Finance or Economics, solid analytical and Excel skills and a few years of experience to launch their career!

    A self -starter, you bring analytical & problem-solving skills as well as initiative for seeking innovative solutions. You strive for excellence and have a collaborative team approach.

    • START: ASAP
    • DURATION: At least 6-months with the possibility of being hired on
    • SCHEDULE: 32 to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, during normal business hours
    • LOCATION: Partially remote until September (1-day in Mill Valley, 4 days remote). Starting in September, it will be onsite 4 days and remote 1-day per week.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Primary responsibility is the daily cash reconciliation of operational accounts including preparation of the daily cash report and cash forecast
    • Processing of funds transfers for the company including Treasury, Servicing, Accounting and Residential operations departments
    • Daily settlement of whole loan trades and securities trades including troubleshooting problem transactions;
    • Provides backup to other analysts for daily securities settlements and derivative settlements
    • Performs a variety of functions within the Treasury Operations group including ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested

    IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

    • BA/BS in Finance or Economics or related field
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience (prior experience in corporate treasury of a publicly held mortgage company or bank helpful)
    • Demonstrated analytical experience with troubleshooting
    • Must have proficiencies with Excel; SQL and MS Access skills a plus
