    Job Summary

    The Performance Analyst – Solar Analytics will support daily monitoring, performance tracking, and reporting for BaRupOn's solar energy assets. This associate-level position is ideal for someone with technical experience in PV systems and a strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and energy system optimization. The role involves using monitoring platforms, diagnosing underperformance, and supporting the O&M team with actionable insights.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor performance of solar assets using SCADA and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AlsoEnergy, PowerTrack)
    • Identify system issues, outages, and underperformance using alerts and trend analysis
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
    • Track KPIs such as PR (Performance Ratio), uptime, inverter availability, and energy yield
    • Support root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions
    • Assist with warranty claim documentation and third-party contractor coordination
    • Maintain logs of downtime events, maintenance activities, and corrective work orders
    • Collaborate with O&M, asset management, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree in Renewable Energy Technology, Electrical Technology, or related technical field
    • 2–4 years of experience in solar monitoring, O&M support, or technical data analysis
    • Familiarity with solar PV systems, inverters, combiner boxes, and site architecture
    • Comfortable using monitoring platforms (e.g., AlsoEnergy, PowerHub, SolarEdge, Enlighten)
    • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data visualization/reporting tools
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to understand electrical drawings and system layout documentation

    Preferred Certifications

    • NABCEP PV Associate or Installer (a plus)
    • OSHA 10 or basic safety training
    • Data analysis or monitoring platform certifications (preferred)
